Teemac is dedicated to assisting educational institutions around the globe with their mission to educate and empower. Their products address common problems faced by institutions with administration, communication, and teaching. In their initial years, we helped the company visually transition from a start-up it to a corporate private incorporated company through our branding exercise.

I tried new things!
We worked closely with one of the co-founders of Teemac for this exercise. We went through about 4 rounds of revision on the brand symbol, took many sessions to understand what was not working. We realised that since the company was starting its new chapter there would be no perfect symbol, there just needed to be a perfect process to arrive at the symbol.

I had an epiphany!
In Zen philosophy, ensō is a circle that is hand-drawn in one uninhibited brush stroke to express a moment when the mind is free to let the body create. One of the founders were given a sheet of paper and a 4” brush and some ink to take a shot at drawing the perfect circle. What you now see is a result of that exercise.
