To re-design the interface of a touch screen panel for a tapeline manufacturing machine, using the existing structure for Approx. 80 screens.

Low resolution of 1024px x 768px across a 15” screen. To reduce clutter while displaying large amounts of information on a touch screen (wherein action fields require to be of appropriate minimum dimensions for easy use)

Use of a vibrant header with subdued colors for the rest, and use of adequate white space, to optimize data interpretation and to ease the movement of the eye. While working on the machine illustrations, curves had to be avoided, to maintain quality on a low resolution screen. Thus, curves were attained using straight lines, as shown in the thumbnail.
